HOMEMADE

Onsies, blankets, burp cloths... I love it all! I'm going to try to sustain the homemade influence on all things, forever. Even if it becomes fewer and farther between moments when I have the time, space, energy to go full force. Besides, all the store bought things are just as adorable. So tiny it nearly drives me nuts. All those little snaps and zippers and hats the size of my nose....
I'm trying not to be a total bore with baby focus. I'm trying to have conversations with other adults that don't revert back to the state of my belly... I try to think about other things during the day and have actually succeeded for small windows of time to focus on work etc. but it's not easy! I'm going to try to blog about something totally unrelated next time. When I think of something totally unrelated you'll hear from me again...

  1. you do realize that I hope you blog your baby heart out with all things new lifey !! what else is there during these mere months? its short and intense and glorious so do what you do without censoring if possible.

whenever I have been pregnant I lose focus on all creative projects other than those pertaining to making growing loving the newie.
and what you have made is inspired and completely wonderful!
I am amazed at how perfectly you have focused you art/mama/love!

  2. and one other thing.
I think you owe me a daily (ok, weekly) belly picture!
....well, you don't owe me but I would seriously appreciate it!

  3. Yes, Caline a weekly belly! Thanks so much Please, please keep making all this baby centric art. My guess is you won't be able to stop even if you want to! An evil tendency I have when I see certain homemade stuff is "let's sell it and make a million!!" - it's like I barfed on the floor in front of everyone and am so embarrassed. Anyway, I love it ALL - you're amazing.

  4. Yes yes - continue with the baby stuff - we love it, and we love what you are doing creatively - and yes Cami, I think it would sell beautifully for other babies to enjoy the whimsy of those drawing... you are a most beautiful mother to be and as usual you handle all of it with a natural grace, love and luminous joy... you are a work of art yourself.
