Natanya's first birthday present!

We stayed with friends in New York who have two children and got to see what Natanya's toy preferences were. The kitchen and the large Lego's were by far the number ones!

We decided to get her the kitchen for her birthday present but we didn't tell her so that it would be a surprise;). It arrived in a big box yesterday and Jono and I stayed up until 1:00 am assembling. We removed her baby play area and replaced it with the brand new one year old state of the art deluxe kitchen area! This morning when she woke up she was so happy and got right to work preparing and sharing various snacks...

We invited her friend Chloe over , who was equally as impressed, and the two of them noshed on plastic bananas and invisible delicacies all afternoon.

All the wicky wack bizaro screws and alan wrenching were totally worth it!

I guess the next major purchase will be Lego's...
